Megtudtuk, bár meghívót nem kaptunk, hogy sajtótájékoztatót tart a Lázár János vezette Építési és Közlekedési Múzeum a Károlyi-palota elé a Pollack Mihály téren szerdán 10 órára – ezzel a felütéssel indítja szerda délelőtt megjelent cikkét a Józsefváros Újság, ami a Magyar Rádió egykori épületeivel kapcsolatos fejleményekről (a témában megjelent írásaink itt olvashatók) számol be.
Az írás szerint a helyszínen Lánszki Regő építészeti államtitkár bejelentette a beruházás megkezdését, hiszen július 26-án sikerült kiválasztani a céget,
ami szeptember elseje után megkezdi a bontást
– annak ellenére, hogy az ügyben továbbra is zajlik a közigazgatási per, aminek szeptember közepén lesz a következő tárgyalása.
A Pollack Mihály téren az is elhangzott, hogy a bontás által érintett épületeket kordonnal elkerítették, augusztus folyamán pedig elszállítják majd a belsőkben maradt ingóságokat.

A cég kiválasztásában nem csak az árajánlat volt a meghatározó, de a környezetvédelmi szempontokat, illetve a vállalt munkatempót is figyelembe vették – tette hozzá Lánszki, aki szerint
2025 tavaszára véget ér majd a bontás, akkorra pedig a kiviteli tervek is összeállnak, és nekiindulhatnak az előreláthatólag egy évet csúszó, 2028-ig tartó építkezésnek.
A Józsefváros Újság arról is írt, hogy az elmúlt hónapokban az építészek már változtattak a kiviteli terveken, és igyekeztek beépíteni a Palotanegyedben élők javaslatait, feltéve persze, ha azok egyébként nem lehetetlenítették volna el a kampusz megépítését. Ezen változtatások részleteiről egyelőre még csak keveset tudni, az azonban biztos, hogy
az alagsorba tervezett tornacsarnokot a földszintre helyezték,
a kétszáz fősre méretezett kollégiumot pedig a Palotanegyed egy másik pontján nyitják majd meg.
A szűk körben tartott sajtótájékoztatón – amire a tervezett beruházásnak otthont adó Józsefváros kerületi lapja mellett a 24.hu sem kapott meghívást – az államtitkár azt állította:
a 200-250 milliárdos büdzsé remélhetőleg nem fog nőni, a módosítások pedig akár még csökkenést is hozhatnak,
bár a különálló kollégium épületét valamiért nem számítják be a fejlesztés árába.
A bontási munkákat végző cég neve az eseményen nem derült ki, keddi cikkünkben azonban bemutattunk egy olyan dokumentumot, ami egy szomszédos ház állapotfelméréséről értesíti a lakókat – ezen a győri Paár Attilához kötődő, az elmúlt évtized építési közbeszerzésein rendre jól teljesítő West Hungária Bau Kft. (WHB) neve olvasható.
Az információt az Elektronikus Közbeszerzési Rendszer vonatkozó dokumentuma is megerősíti: eszerint a 2023. október 20-án kiírt közbeszerzésre hat ajánlat érkezett be, közülük pedig
valóban a Tiborcz István üzlettársa által kézben tartott WHB került ki győztesként,
mégpedig egy közel 1,7 milliárdos (1 699 856 698 Ft) nettó ajánlattal.
A versenyben a Mészáros családhoz kapcsolódó ZÁÉV Építőipari Zrt., illetve a Matolcsy György fiának baráti köréhez tartozó, a Magyar Nemzeti Bank központjának rekonstrukcióján, valamint a várbeli egykori Diplomataház projektjén is dolgozó RAW Development Kft. is részt vett – előbbi 3,205, utóbbi pedig 2,882 milliárdért vállalta volna ugyanazt a feladatot.The post Szeptemberben indul a Magyar Rádió korábbi otthonának bontása, 2028-ra az utód is elkészül majd first appeared on 24.hu.
