Workplace management software company Monday.com is expanding its footprint in London with a new 80,000 sq ft office.
The new lease in London’s Fitzrovia district near the West End contains the company’s largest research and development operation outside of its headquarters in Tel Aviv.
Monday.com said the new location is part of a major expansion in the UK capital, with the company aiming to double its London-based workforce in 2024.
The software company said it grew UK headcount by more than 50% in 2023. Monday.com is hiring for roles in R&D, design, sales, marketing, partnerships and alliances experts.
Monday.com has locations in eight other cities worldwide including New York, Sydney, São Paulo and Tokyo. It is listed on the US Nasdaq exchange.
The latest UK expansion follows the recent appointment of Pierre Berlin as the group’s first EMEA general manager, based in London. The company said it had confidence in London’s status as a tech hub.
“Securing this new space is a key step in our expansion strategy. London is a global tech hub with unparalleled access to talent and innovation,” said Berlin.
“This office will be the central hub for our EMEA operations, fostering closer relationships with our customers and partners. We are committed to investing in the local tech ecosystem and contributing to London’s vibrant business landscape.”
Monday.com first established its UK presence in 2020. In 2021 it designated its London office as its European HQ.
“We are thrilled about this strategic expansion, which presents new opportunities for our London team and the broader region,” added Mor Avrahami, senior director of global facilities at monday.com.
