A szusi múlékony élmény, a művészet pedig maradandó – ezzel az érzéssel szembesülhetett a japán művésznő, Kijota Takajo (Takayo Kiyota) is, aki úgy döntött, megpróbálja egyesíteni a két, egymástól nagyon különböző világot.
A próbálkozásai nem várt sikerre vezettek: a színezett rizsből, zöldségekből, algalapokból, illetve egyéb hozzávalókból elképesztően részletes, az inspiráló festményeket jól felismerhetően adaptáló makikat hozott létre.
