Haley – akinek alkoholfüggősége végigkísérte a karrierjét – korán, 55 éves korában meghalt 1981-ben.
Cedrone a zenetörténeti jelentőségű felvételért mindössze 21 dolláros fizetséget kapott, családja pedig sokáig sikertelenül küzdött azért, hogy őt is beiktassák a Rock and Roll Hírességek Csarnokába, ahová a Bill Haley & His Comets 1987-ben került be. The post Bill Haley gitárosa meghalt, mielőtt híressé vált volna first appeared on 24.hu.
