British payments fintech MultiPay enters market, lets accept payments from anywhere in the world

The e-commerce transactions in the UK have grown by 46% during the pandemic crisis. At the same time, due to the lockdown, the physical in-store payments were frozen. As a result, consumers have got accustomed to seamless online payment methods. While there is an increase in demand for quick and seamless payment options among customers, London- and Milan-based MultiPay Global Solutions has entered the market to shake up the payments industry.

Seamless payments service

The company lets large merchants worldwide accept payments from anywhere. The all-in-one payment solution bundles an API that acts as a single point of integration between any acquirer in any country and payment method. MultiPay provides a seamless payment experience and couture service for its customers. Its gateway works across all payment channels in any sector including retail, hospitality, travel, and transportation.

MultiPay’s arrival into the market is timed perfectly with the COVID-19 pandemic, further growing the divide between in-store and online payment experiences.

Simplifies payment Infrastructures

MultiPay’s PCI P2PE & PCI DSS L1 validated solution is a unique technology, which creates a single payment gateway covering all currencies, payment methods and acquirers. With a single payment gateway in place, MultiPay removes complexity from payment infrastructures, providing merchants with a simplified, agile, and innovative solution with full control over their payment process. It provides the perfect platform for merchants operating across borders both in-store and online once it is integrated.

“As the retail, hospitality, travel, and tourism sectors begin to reopen, payments are going to be at the forefront of the customer experience. Being able to take any payment, anywhere will allow businesses to operate much more efficiently, as the same terminal and webpage can be used regardless of the transaction being made,” said Delia Pedersoli, COO at MultiPay Global Solutions.

David Maisey, CEO at MultiPay Global Solutions said: “It is really exciting to be launching MultiPay and helping large merchants expand and scale into new countries and markets following the pandemic. We have a very talented team that understands every customer has a unique payment proposition and needs a service tailored specifically for them, creating a genuine couture experience. Technology runs through our company. In fact, 65% of our workforce are from a technology background, which helps us with continually innovating MultiPay’s solution. This expertise, combined with our agile mindset allows our team to make things happen – fast.”

“As stores re-open, we must offer a first-class customer experience across in-store and on-line. Payment is a key part of the customer experience as it is the point where a consumer fully commits to our brand and products. MultiPay Global Solutions understands this and delivers a seamless payment experience while removing the complexities often felt when managing multiple systems,” said Tony Westwater, Head of IT at Frasers Group, which includes House of Fraser, Sports Direct, Game and Jack Wills.

MultiPay Global Solutions has been launched with a growing set of customers across 22 countries. Some of its customers include Sports Direct, Fraser Group, Massimo Dutti and Zara.
